KELOWNA’S 21st ANNUAL OGOPOGO SENIORS SLO-PITCH TOURNAMENT IS OFFICIALLY CANCELLED FOR 2010.
We’re very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you but the City of Kelowna has allocated what we thought to be our time slot to another group. We appealed the decision but lost. This was not a surprise as a city manager and two members of the group that monitors allocation of the fields decided the appeal!!! We feel we were unfairly treated but we are out of options and there are no other suitable dates available.
Please feel free to email our mayor, Sharon Shepard, if you have any comments on the way the City of Kelowna treats a long established group, while favouring other groups.
